Sony Wave64?

Does anyone know if NI is working on implementing a way of recording/playing files in the Sony Pictures Digital Wave 64 format with LabView?

To my knowledge, I do not know of plans to implement the Wave 64 format in LabVIEW.  If this is something you are interested in, you can post in the NI Idea Exchange.

I imagine that you could pretty easily call into a third party dll or .NET library with LabVIEW that would offer some integration with the sound format.

Have you looked for these options?

Nope. I was being lazy. I don't have an immediate need for this type of decoder. At the company I work for, we are starting to deal with more and more wave64 files. So in the future, I could see a need for it. And it would be nice if there were native elements already built into LabView that I could work with like there are for wav files. Which is why I asked the question. I'll sometime post this comment in the Idea Exchange sometime and see if anyone else has the same request as me.
