Spectral Measurements Toolkit 17.0

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm seeing a "Library that contains the VI or item is not properly licensed" error when trying to open a VI which uses a VI from the niSMT library.

Looking in NI License Manager, I can't find Spectral Measurements Toolkit, even after doing a repair of the install.

How do I resolve this error and activate SMT?

Thanks

Adam

It appears that the Spectral Measurement Toolkit's last version was 17.0, which suggests it was released with LabVIEW 2017.  If you need to acquire a license for a product 6 years after it was released, I suggest you get in touch with National Instruments and inquire about purchasing the license.

This seems to have been an issue with the deployed copy of a SMT VI. I copied across the version from the LabVIEW folder and this now works as expected.
