How do I speed up compilation on remote fpga compiler server?
When compiling the CPU on the server is only at 0-5% and it takes 1½h to compile.
The server is a 2x XEON E5520 2.27Ghz with 12GB RAM running Windows 2008 server R2.
Why doesn't it use the CPU power and memory as there is plenty of it and the server isn't used for anything else?

I do have a similar Problem, running the compiler on a Intel i7 Quadcore with 2.7 GHz but just 3 GB of RAM. Still, the Task manager shows 1.6GB as available. I know about simulation features and everything, but isn't there a way of using ressources more efficiently? Will more RAM really speed up the process?
