Tabs controls frozen

I have tab control in my vi. I used the tool palette to change the background and saved the vi. After I opened it all the tabs are frozen

wherever I click it shows the blue dotted line across the whole tab panel. Does not show the individual tab. How can I make all tabs active again. This is so weird.

Are you sure that after you used the tools palette, you changed back to the auto-tool?  If you were only getting the "pointer" tool instead of the "finger" tool, that might do what you described.

You could also do a quick check of the "Reorder" menu to be sure you didn't lock the control:

(If it was selected but locked, then "Unlock" would be a selectable option)
