Tank

Hello,

i'm realising simple project controling tank level with PID controller i did simulation and get stable response but i want to add cascade loop to make system more stable and fast i don't know how to combine 2 PID controllers.

Also i didn't use setpoint to show that output take near to setpoint cause i don't know how that's works in Labview.

i opened NI exemple in Labview cascade and feedfoward tank level i tried to remove fedforward to get cascade only but i can't..

Plz any suggestion or help it will be appreciable from you.

Thanks

Hello Medamine0101,

If you open the example finder in LabVIEW and do a search for cascade you will find a few examples.  The Tank Level example that you mentioned is one of them but two others you may want to take a look at are DC Motor Cascade Speed Control.vi and Simulation - Cascade and Selector.vi.  Both of these demonstrate PID cascade in LabVIEW without using feedforward architecture.

Thank you for response i think i finished my project it's simple one, i didn't use simulation tank it's little complicated, i saw all this examples includin cascade control that you said..

if you want to verify my loops and block diagramme i'll post it here and thank you again!!
