Typedef and Coercion Dot?

Hi All,

I am using the boolean and the double typedef (both are indicators).

When i connect this indicator to the CVT tag or the constant also , it is showing the coercion dot.

I have read some articles regarding the same but still I am not able to understnad the exact reason for it.

Is it possible to avoid this type of coercion or this is some kind of known issue already....

Also if it is cannot be avoided thus it impact memory??

Not all coercion impact memory or performance. Have a look at this discussion.
