Un-hide control

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm working on LabView 2013 on a set of VI with hidden controls.

I need to rename one of such controls but even If I can find a reference of it, locate it on the front panel I cannot open

its properties to make any change.

I know it's a newbie question but I searched the forum and found no solution.

Hi Michele,

Simple solution: find the control terminal in the block diagram and change the label there...

Other simple solution: find the control terminal in the block diagram, right-click and "show the control" to un-hide it...

There are no way to un-hide a single control or all hiddend controls?

Sure there is a way!

The make ALL controls visible you can use property nodes: get the references of all frontpanel elements and set the visibility property for all controls to TRUE...

In newer versions of LabVIEW (at least >= 2022) there is a "Show Hidden Controls While Editing" entry in the "Edit" menu of a VI, but I see you are working with LV2013.
