VISA :(HEX 0xBFFF0011) Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not in the system for DAQ970A

Hi All,

I have a problem with 2 DAQ970A devices and it was detecting correct but when i try to initialize then i get this HEX 0xBBFFF0011 insufficient location error window.

Please note i have installed NIVISA driver, IviNetSharedComponents64_Fx20_1.4.1.exe, IviSharedComponents64_261.exe, when i used single device it works fine.

I would appreciate your help on this topic.

What bus are you using to communicate with these instruments?  Do they have the same address?  Can you share some code for us to analyze?
