Video feed from Bnc

Solved!

I have a video camera that has a BNC video output and I was wondering if there was anyway that I could stream the video on labview and process the video data. Thanks!

It is possible to view video feeds with LabVIEW.  The big question though is what hardware you need.  Do you know what protocol the video camera outputs?  If I were guessing I would think NTSC but really I don't know.  If you can tell us that or at least what the make and model of the camera are we might be able to help you.

I'm not sure what protocol my cameras have, they are a Burle TC351A and a Cohu 4915-4010

If it is NTSC or PAL, unfortunately National Instruments no longer sells analog frame grabbers 😞

I also have a box that converts the BNC to firewire, would I be able to use that with LabView?

Its possible that you could.  You should check this page Firewire Camera Support Page and the Industrial Camera Advisor.

Those page should help you find your answer.  I noticed there are links on those pages that address related subjects.  That's probably the best place to start.

Okay those comments were from me not "Girl Genius".   She used my computer yesterday to register for NI Week.  LOL
