Are you talking about the Express VI? What do you want to do with the signal? Display it on the front panel, output to some actual hardware? Please be specific.

Thanks for reply.

I want to apply it to the hardware (i.e., to the circit which need an input signal for testing it, say, RC circuit).

You are still not providing any information. You have some external circuitry you want to provide a signal to. Do you actually have any hardware in the pc to generate a signal or are you looking for recomendations as to what pc hardware to buy?

Please, you are not being charged by the word when you post something. I'm guessing you are a student and do not understand the necessity of providing detailed specifications. When you have worked something out (number of signals, required amplitudes, frequency, prices, form factor, etc), post back. You can also contact your local NI Sales Engineer when you have some concrete questions to ask.

We have designed a virtual function generator using LabVIEW. We have been able to display the signal on the front panel.

We have also prepared .exe file of the same. Now the requirement is that using this function generator, we wish to apply an input signal to the circuit under test. How to do that?

What are the characteristics of your waveform?  Sample Frequency?  Bandwidth?  Amplitude?

Instead of asking the same vague question again and again, please provide the necessary details that you have again,.been asked for.

You might as well throw your exe away. It is worthless without modifying it for the specific hardware you will eventually be buying.
