Hello, I've got two different results from Visa read, where it should be the same all the time
1. Using attached VI supplied by Agilent the Visa read do not return proper value after the Visa write (*IDN?) .... see attached VI_fail (line 5.)
2. If I use the Measurement &Automation Visa read works fine.... see attached Measurement &Automation_OK
What's the point of this inconvenience?

You didn't put a termination character such as a carriage return or line feed at the end of the string you are writing in your LabVIEW program.

\n or ; did not helped in this situation as well

Did you enter the \n while the string constant was set for \codes display?

I din'n fully understand what you said, but I did it like this

Your picture of the string constant doesn't show whether you are in normal mode or \codes mode.
Right click on the constant and see which display mode is selected in the right click menu.

.... yes I swiched to \codes mode and added \n at the end of comand, but...
it dont help... and randomly it happens with other commands as well...
....actually the situation is fuzzy and changes all the time. Sometimes it works sometimes it dont, sometimes it works if I restart the analyzer sometimes it dont...
I cant figure it out wether it in My fault or LabView or Analyzer or PC with Win7

I'm not sure in this particular situation but I know when ever I have done VISA writes, I always would right-click on the string control and select '\' codes display. Then after I type the message I just hit Enter and it automatically puts in the \n.
