Hi NI 9475 is a voltage sourcing module that can source upto 60V and max 1A per channel, it has 8 channels in total and the channel outputs can be connected to together to obtain higher current rating.
The External Supply connected Vsup is the same Supply the is received as output from the Module.
I want to know what is the Minimum Voltage & Current Rating of the supply that can be used a Vsup to NI 9475.
I am planning connect a 12V 10A power supply such that I can use the maximum current capacity of 8A however my sensor circuit requires 12V voltage level as input.
Can I used the Meanwell SDR-120-12 SMPS as Vsup to the Module?

You can of course use that power supply but you must make sure that:
- your load never draws more than 8 A. Since the supply can deliver 10 A it will do so if the load draws that much, but that will cause an overcurrent in the digital output switches that can damage/destroy the 9475.
- You must makes sure to always switch all parallel digital outputs on and off at the same moment.
Are you aware that the 9475 has a last time buy of 28/12/2023?

Thank you for the info, we have the module readily available in the inventory hence we are using the same, however since I am based out of a different location I do not have physical access to the module to try the concept.

An alternative would be to use a single output channel to control a relay that has higher current capacity to do the actual switching to your load.
