WHAT is a red triangle in a VI object connection?? I found that with this marker, the function doesn't work well.

This is a coercion dot, meaning that the datatype is not right and labview needs to coerce the data. Many times, this is not really a problem. What is in the cluster? Is it a type def?

In what way doesn't it work well?

Attach the VI and subVI so we can tell you what the function gets and what it actually wants at that upper terminal.
