Thank you for the reply. I received a zipped folder which included a vi called Call Functional Global Variable. This folder included another folder called Resources and in there I received the code for the functional global variable. It was my mystake to thinking that I received this from you. Sorry and I appologise.
I have received a solution which works and that uses Network Published variables between the main vi and the web services vi.
However I wanted to understand the approach you indicated but I could not get it working. Even with the Open Application Reference. I will keep on studying what you said. I understand the concept but somehow I do not implement the calling vi correctly.
