What's new in LabVIEW 2016

OK, I know we still have a couple months to wait.  But anybody heard any rumors?  What can we expect in the newest version coming out soon?

You can start by looking in the LabVIEW Idea Exchange for things in Development and Beta.

Being on the Beta, I know exactly what to expect.  And, no, I am not allowed to say anything (I am under so many NDAs with NI it is almost scary).

The "Next Version" of LabVIEW, as I'm sure you know, is announced at NI Week.  After the first week in August, 2016, you will be able to download LabVIEW 2016 and "see for yourself" (read the "What's New in LabVIEW 2016" part of Getting Started with LabVIEW).  Before it is released, you won't be able to actually use it, so you might as well wait (im)patiently, like the rest of us.

P.S. -- I recommend no more boasting posting of "I Know, but I'm Not Telling" -- we're supposed to be a community.

One thing we can count on, there will be a new icon!  Oops, I may have said too much...

Wasn't that one of the top five reasons to but LV 2014?

It was actually the top reason put up by the NI Marketing group of "What's New in LabVIEW 2014."  That actually had more jokes about it at NI Week 2014 than LabVIEW 8!  For me, the Vivado FPGA compiler was the best feature they released that year.  But that's another story.
