What template to use?

Hi all! Tell me, I made an outline of the program design and now want to determine the structure of the program. Which is better to use a template. Basic Mode - 2-channel registration of the incoming RF signal from the sensors. At the same time you want to write data to a file for playback mode signal. So, too, the analysis of the signal is given to define a place. The program also requires the creation of a report to analyze the signal. As a result, the program will be multi-window, with a choice of different parameters of signal detection. And more importantly, must be stored somewhere in the display settings, and signal detection. So that if a user has turned and came again, then quickly put him to the desired setting. Is the idea of using a classic finite state machine or event-driven state machine. But apparently the template with parallel loops going.

What software are you using (LabVIEW or Signal Express)?

What hardware are you working with to acquire the RF signal?

Can you provide some more details on your application? From what you wrote, it seems you would like to acquire an RF signal and log the data to a file. Do you want to perform an analysis on the data before or after it is saved to a file? Can you elaborate more on the different parameters that will be available to the user and their purpose?
