Why Lookout Citadel running with no Lookout install?

All our labview installations, mostly still 7.1, seem to have the Citadel server loading at startup, but we haven't ever installed Lookout. Is it being used in other normal LV operations? Should I consider this normal?

Depends on how you define normal. If by normal you mean the increasing size of the explosion of services that NI installs on your computer with each new version of LabVIEW, then ... yes! It's absolutely normal.

That service can also get installed with, say, Fieldpoint.
