Hello Everyone,
I just came accross something I found peculiar, and that is that when I change an XNET ECU Control on a front panel by using its drop-down selection, it doesn't throw a Value Change event.
Now, if I type in an ECU name and press enter, the event is thrown as I would expect
Attached is a very simple example of what I'm talking about.
Is this the known functionality or a bug?
Regards,
Rob Afton
Software Versions:
LabVIEW 2011 sp1 f2
XNET 14.1
NI-CAN 14.0 (probably irrelevent)

Hello Rob,
This is peculiar indeed, I have tried also different ways of setting it up and it is not recieving the Value Change event from the ECU control. I have also done a research to see if somebody has already reported the issue and I was not able to find some issue related to it. I would recommend you to create a bug report so you can get some further assistance in this case.

I know this issue has been reported before, I saw it on the forums, just don't remember which one or where. I believe it was with a DAQmx control of some kind, I'll keep looking.
You can generate a value change event if you change the value with the keyboard and press enter. This is not a good work around, sorry.

Okay here is the previous issue which I think is related, there I posted a work around that monitored the control value.
