active x dashboard controls, transparent if possible, third party ok

I would like to use active x controls (gauges/indicators) that overlay the LV control panel but have a transparent background. I have seen something like this for heads up avionics from a third party, but those specific type of gauges won't work for us. I have spent a lot of time just on the web without really finding what would be a good fit, or if they would fit are several thousand dollars. They don't have to be free but need to be as inexpensive as possible ($500 <). I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction to start. Thanks.

Can you give any specifics as to what you are wanting? what do they need to look like? do they need to do anything fancy? why do the built-in gauges in lv not work?

Thanks for replying.

We have a QT video and need to place the speed dial and temperature on the video. We want to see the video through the gauge. So the gauge background has to be transparent. Active x controls with the properties seemed to be a reasonable fast way to do this.

Why won't the gauges built into LV work? Could you show some sort of doctored picture that would show what you are trying to do?
