Hello,
I know this post is a few years old. I am having an issue with one of our Univeristy department's VI. The VI is connected to a Yaesu G-5500 and it allows Azimuth Rotation and Elevation. It allows the user to see where the rotor's angle is currently located. But lately, after a computer failure and restoration the VI will not work. I have tracked down the problem to some I/O commands titled rotorxx and azimuth. These are inputted before the DIO port and AI subVIs. Whenever the interface is run i get a -10001 DIO error. Would anyone be able to help out with this? I am missing something that was there before when this VI used to work? The setup is running with LabView 6i.

Would suggest that you use Putty to test the serial communication; you can download this free software using the following link:
