Hello,

I know this post is a few years old. I am having an issue with one of our Univeristy department's VI. The VI is connected to a Yaesu G-5500 and it allows Azimuth Rotation and Elevation. It allows the user to see where the rotor's angle is currently located. But lately, after a computer failure and restoration the VI will not work. I have tracked down the problem to some I/O commands titled rotorxx and azimuth. These are inputted before the DIO port and AI subVIs. Whenever the interface is run i get a -10001 DIO error. Would anyone be able to help out with this? I am missing something that was there before when this VI used to work? The setup is running with LabView 6i.

Thank You

Jorge

Hi Jorge,

It appears that Patrick is helping support this issue for you, but I wanted to also point you to another discussion forum thread that dealt with this error code.  Maybe some of the information contained in that thread will be pertinent to your situation.

Error -10001 occurred at DIO Port Config

Would suggest that you use Putty to test the serial communication; you can download this free software using the following link:
