assigning values for excel

hi all,

         i want to make a report generation VI with which i can generate a report on the excel sheet in such a manner that, i can assign various columns and rows with the values i have.. is there any way by which i can assign a particular value to a particular row.. I wanted to give the first column of all rows with the headers.. Like Name, Address, Age and so on.. and in the second coulumn of  all rows, i wanted to take the input from the VI..

can anyone help me with this.. i am posting the Image of excel report i want to make.. i typed it simply in excel..  can anyone tell me how to pass these values in a similar manner from my VI...

You should open the Example Finder and search for "Excel". You will find an example which you can probably use as is for what you want. You can also peruse the Excel thread
