i don't mind sharing ideas and insight on how to aproche the problem but i don't want to give my code away

Is there hardware involved in this project?  Can you supply schematic?

I'd be willing to bet, if you looked it up on LabVIEW examples, you'd find a VI that probably does exactly what you want.
