cDAQ 9189 Using second ethernet port for Modbus TCP communication

Hi,

I have a cDAQ 9189 with two ethernet ports. How can I use the second port, is it only for connecting multiple cDAQ like expansion or I can connect external device to it? For example: could I connect an external Modbus TCP device to the secondary ethernet port and communicate with it from my Labview program?

No, cDAQ-9189 does not have its controller. It cannot run any code other than receiving DAQmx-related commands from the host PC. The second port is for daisy-chaining TSN devices only.
