cRIO-9046 LabVIEW Version Update

Does anybody know if the cRIO-9046 (firmware version 8.5.0f0) is unable run versions after LabVIEW 2021?

I am able to connect to my cRIO, install software, and view all of the modules installed, but I keep getting a driver mismatch error when attempting to open test panels, or access the modules in any way (because my local machine is running LabVIEW 2024 and the cRIO is apparently only able to update to LabVIEW 2021).

I am hoping there is a way to update the cRIO to run LabVIEW 2024 and have all versions updated and match instead of downgrade my local machine to match LabVIEW 2021, but I may try that if there is no other way.

I have followed the User Manual and Getting Started guides for the cRIO 9046 and at the step "Testing Your Controller in MAX" it mentions "The same version of the driver must be installed on both the host and the target" and I want to find out why I can't update the remote target (9046) past LabVIEW 2021.

Another thing that I have tried on my local machine is to install the older LabVIEW drivers and programming environments at the same time(LabVIEW 2021 and 2024 and related drivers) hoping that it would detect that the same version of the drive is installed, but this also didn't work which makes me think I will have to uninstall everything except for LabVIEW 2021.

Hopefully this is an easy question and any information is appreciated!

Do you have NI Linux RT System Image 2024 or later installed on your host PC?
