cRIO FTP too slow

I tried the data transfer through Measuremant & Automation Explorer as described in the topic you gave the link to.

It works as fast as command line, and without CPU heavy load too.

Now, the cRIO directory contains very few files and the file I transfer is about 1KB. 

So my problem could be a different one.

Setting the file format "binary" TRUE for FTP Get File VI finally did the trick.

No clue why... but when it works, simply be happy
