cRIO, modbus, DECS and Micom Relays

Hi,

I'm wanting to talk to DECS 200 and DECS 300 devices and also Micom relay devices. I will need Modbus to communicate with them. I understand I can use a cRIO as a slave, but is it possible to use a cRIO as a modbus master so I can request data from the devices?

Hi JChec,

You can in fact set up the Modubus I/O server on a cRIO as either a Modbus master or Modbus slave. I am attaching a window here where you can see how these options are selected.
