can't connect to robotics starter kit 2.0

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I know this question has been askedmultiple times and I've read trough several forum posts but couldn't find a solution.

When I try to run a robotics project on the DaNI, starter kit 2.0, I get a Conflict Resolution message saying "failed to connect to the target". --> see image attahced

I installed the latest version of labview, robotics, FPGA and real time modules as well as the RIO drivers.

Once I disabled my firewall I was able to detect the robot with MAX but I still wasn't able to connect using labview.

Thanks for any help,

Hi MortZxD,

Did you assign the correct IP address to the robot in the LabVIEW project? (you should be able to find this in MAX)

Is there any error in MAX?

Have you tried power cycling the robot?

Hi,

I had the same IP address as the one shown by MAX in my projects library but I still couldn't connect.

I reset the IP address of the robot by booting it in safe mode and changing from a static IP to dynamic and that did the trick! 🙂

Thnks
