clear graphs

Hello,

I have attached a VI named "graphs" that calls another VI called  "graphs1".  I cannot seem to be able to reset the XY plot when I go into the second block.  Can you help me out in resetting the XY plot after the first block, so that in the second block, the graph is renewed and I see only the plot during the second block?

I have read some of the posts but none of them see to help me out.

Thanks,

hiNi

I do not understand what you are trying to do. What do you need this vi to do? Do you want the top vi to log data and the bottom generate only limited data? so the top level VI would include all of the data from the sub vi and the sub vi only contains the ten samples?

Hello,

My objective is as follows:  In the main "graphs.vi", the XY graph updates realtime.  After the first block is completed in the "graphs.vi", the XY graph should be cleared/reset.  As the second block starts to output data, the main vi ("graphs.vi") XY graph should start a new plot with now only the second set of data.  At the end of the "graphs.vi", only the second set data should be shown in the XY graph.

I bascially want the top level vi XY graph to include data of only one sub vi at a time.

Hello,

I have version 8.2.  I am not able to open up the files that you sent.  Is it possible for you to save it for version 8.2?

Thanks,

hiNi
