Hi all,
I have an issue with my compact rio.
I save data files on the non volatile memory. unfortunately I had unwanted power shutdown, and now I can not ftp the file.
it seems to me the fat is corrupted somewhere.
with the ftp client, I can see the file, but the transfer can not be done.
I really want to get this file back... (important unique data).
does anyone has an idea how I can get the file and recover the error? (I am working on how to avoid that later..)...
thanks for your help!

Can you write a simple LabVIEW program that attempts to read the file and display it in a string indicator or re-write it to a new file?

I tried to copy it from the ftp client and it did not work neither.
I did not try with another program yet, the instrument is "in the field" and I could not try to reread the file it self, but I will as soon as I can get my hand on it. good advice.
