Hello,
I am using a cRIO-9073 connected through an unmanaged ethernet switch then to my computer and also connected to the company's network. The cRIO connects fine (i can interact with the remote front panel on the cRIO) using this method, however I can't display the remote front panel when I only connect my computer to the cRIO through the ethernet switch. Where can I find the correct method of connecting to cRIO through ethernet switch?
Thank you,
note: I have manually configured my computer to an arbitrary IP address and subnet mask when using only the ethernet switch, cRIO combo, no network. But I cannot repeat connecting to the cRIO, there might be a step I am missing.

bermea,
Hello! Let me make sure I understand your issue, and then make a sugguestion.
You have your PC and cRIO connected to an ethernet switch that is also connected to your companies network and you are able to see the cRIO in MAX. However, when you disconnected your companies network from the switch leaving just the PC and cRIO connected, you are no longer able to use the cRIO or see it in MAX. Is this correct?
It seems you've indicated that you've setup your PC to have a static IP address for when it's disconnected from the network. If this is the case, then you'll also need to set the cRIO to have a static IP address. Below are some documents that can help you do this.

Ben,
Yes this is correct, in the event of network failure I want to still communicate with cRIO through my switch.
Thanks for the information.
