Hi Lahan,
Could you clarify that wiring diagram a little bit more. Take a look at the below diagram and verify that you have your signals connected as such. Also, since it seems like there might be an issue with the operating system, are there any noticeable differences between the machines that do work and those that don't besides the OS? Thanks for your patience.

Hey Paul,
Originally, without any of the wirings, the source and instrument look like the bottom right diagram. The wiring diagram I drew is all the things I've tried based on peoples recommendation, the picture does not show the source or the instrument, just the block connector for the 6062, I've forgotten to include them. But by comparing what I've done and that bottom right picture, I've really not changed much at all.
Which is why I think something is wrong with the OS compatibility with this device, since I didn't need to rig anything up to get it to work for win 7 ( or it is just my horribly bad luck). Beside this issue, nothing was wrong with the two XP sp3 computers at all, one of which is the dell precision m6400, the other is the dell latitude e6400. The win 7 computer is a dell precision m6500.
Were you guys able to try this out on your end?

Hi Lahan,
I noticed in your original post that you had the DAQ assistant configured to RSE even though you're saying that you have it connected as a NRSE (bottom right image). Also, what version of DAQmx do you have on the three systems? Besides the operating system, we need to identify some other differences between the systems that work and that don't work. The 6062E does work on both Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 32bit.
Also, what connector block are you using with the 6062E? Could you tell me exactly how you have the system wired, from the function generator to the connector block?
