i have labview 8.6 installed on my laptop. currently haveing issues with the DAQ assistant. When it initialises the NI assistant host stops working and an unknown error message is given. Not sure where to look for corrupt files etc. my daq is a usb-6008 and my lap top is running windows vista. i think the issue is to do with a driver in the MAX folder. but i dont have enough experience with it. i am currently installing NI-DAQmx 9.0.2 in the hope that this will solve the issue. any help on this would be greatly appriciated.
