data socket

Hallo,

i got a problem with Data Socket. I want to use Data Socket to write and read datas. my platform is LabVIEW8,5 student edition. In this moment i want to 2 programms separately write and read by using shared variables. Under the instruction from handbook,everthing was going well.But there was a error: Error 42,generic error. I don't know what is that mean.

Can everone solve this?

when do you get this error? Can you give some more information and maybe upload your code.

the problem is solved.Because i have chosen" bind to source" and bind to the same shared variables when i configure shared variables,so there was a conflict when deploy the variables,that is the generic error(42).i think.
