does the database toolkit still require runtime license?

Just noticed that the database connectivity toolkit is part of LV Professional.  I seem to recall this was a separate product, with a deployment runtime license fee.

Is that still the case or is it now free if developed with LV Pro?

Hi,

Which version of LabVIEW do you use ?

I use version 2015. And it's free for LV PRO.

Just to make sure.  Free if you build an executable and install it in another station that doesn't have the development environment, just the LV2015 runtime?

That's correct, no runtime license is needed (and never was) if you run an executable that uses the database toolkit on another computer.

Well, it's all a moot point anyway, as there are only 32 bit versions of this thing available.

Yes, I understand that are workarounds, but it is a pretty sad situation.
