edge detection of the image

Hi, I've input image into a VI and generated its edge-visible copy but couldn't succeed to find proper logic to detect the exact number of pointed edge.Do you guys have any idea how to resolve this.?

Hi Montu,

Are you working with the Vision Development Module? There are lots of tools for detecting edges. I'd recommend taking a look at this example, as well as the Vision Assistant Manual section on edge detection. I hope this helps.
