elapsed time

Hello,

I am currently attempting to use the Elapsed time Subvi in order to output the value of time elapsed as i run a while loop to collect data. Unfortunately the elapsed time does not seem to be functioning correctly. The milliseconds on the indicator are changing but the seconds are not. why is this?

You have your Elapsed Time VI set to 1 second. You also have it set to automatically reset the time target.

Double-click the express Vi to edit these options and just un-check the reset option.
