embedded web publishing error

Hi there,

I have some problem... I am trying to allow users to remotely control my labview program over the web (on a browser). I have all of the server information entered, and it's correct.

But when I want to browse the file at another pc that have installed Labview through the internet, the front panel  of the program could not be display.

I have read in the ni website that it's maybe because of the firewall. But I have asked my IT department that it is nothing to do with  firewall.

why this is happen?

Is there any other option to do remote control other than using web publishing tool..please help me...I need the solution as soon as possible.

                     answer the following
1.the system which you want to see from the remote which is interanet connected.
2. in the tools----> options------> there so many things you want to enable ,,ex: vi server configuration ... you want to add the i.p address of the p.c from which u want to see ..
3. instaled labview run time engine in the pc uyou want to see...

Firstly, I have enabled the web server. I have put the ip address of the pc that I want to see the program. I also have installed a Labview 8.2 in the pc that i want to see the program which is run time engine also have been installed. I have done all the configuration before make the embedded web server. but still got the error..

   one more thing .

open vi properties and select execution.
enable the reenterant execution.

i dont think this is the reason, but check if you are having the actual vi/.exe open when you open the html page on the other pc.

that will not give the 'plugin' error, but check that.

also, see if its possible to give the html link here, and somone can try opening it.

you cannot access the code if the actual vi is not running/open in the server pc.

i had this problem earlier today.

you just have to install or drage the plugins in to the mozilla/plugins folder
