error 1082 with active cursor

1 - run background.vi
2 - run selection.vi
3 - select another item on the "enum" control (selection.vi)
4 - you should raise error 1082 on background.vi

As you will see nothing is linked between background.vi and selection.vi, but an error is raised on the property node "active cursor"

Truly weird. I have no explanation but I noticed that if you change the enum with the up/down buttons, disconnect from type def, or use different properties, the error goes away. I'd mark it as a bug and submit it to NI.

Hello JIFO,

I was able to reproduce the error using LabVIEW 7.0, but it looks like it is not a problem in 7.1. This is definitely strange. Im amazed you were able to uncover this issue. There should be no connection between the two. We appreciate customer feedback, and take it very seriously, but since it looks like the problem has been resolved in the latest version of LabVIEW, R&D probably wont take the time to look into it. Hopefully this is not a major inconvenience for you. Please let me know if this is a sufficient response, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

Have a nice day!
