Hi jdrendon,
First, make sure that you have Administrator privileges when installing LabVIEW DSC.
The file nidscsm.exe should appear in your c:\WINDOWS\system32 directory. If it does not show up, then try to uninstall and reinstall LabVIEW DSC from the Add/Remove Programs.
If it does show up there then check to see if the process is running by looking in the Task Manager under the Process tab. If the process doesn't show up, follow the instruction to uninstall and then reinstall DSC.
To Remove LabVIEW DSC 7.0, follow these directions:
Select Start>>Settings>>Control Panel. Then double-click on Add/Remove Programs. Find National Instruments Software and click Remove. Find NI LabVIEW DSC Module 7.0 and click Uninstall.
You can check that the
process is running by doing the follow:
While holding down Ctrl and Alt, press Delete. Click Task Manager. Go to the Process tab and click Image Name to sort the processes by name. See if nidscsm.exe shows up in the list.
