events labview base

Hello,

I have two licenses of Labview: the developer suite and base license. I know that event structures are not part of the base package, but when I open code containing events structures developed with the developer suite, on the PC with the base license, I can still see the event structure and the code runs.

So what is the difference: I cannot add new event structures from the base license?

Hey L54,

You are corrent in saying the event structures are not a part of the LabVIEW Base edition. However, if you have a program that was developed in the developer suite using event structures, you will still be able to run the VI and the event structures in LabVIEW base. The main difference is, as Dennis has mentioned, that you will not be able to modify or add to this event structure in the base version.

Hope this helps.

Here is where you can see the differences between the different LabVIEW systems.
