excel file

Hi you all,

i am a student and i dont have a big experience with labview. in Matters of a project i have to visualize the CAN Bus Data of an engine. my problem is, i cannot save the data in a excel file. i have try with the subvi 'Write to measuremen file' but i doesnt work because i use the version of labview2010.

what exactly is an "excel file"?

When you want to save some data I would recommend to start with the simple WriteToSpreadsheetFile. Guess what: Excel is able to load spreadsheet files…

to save data in Excel file, you can basically uses the " Write To Spreadsheet VI"
