Hello
I am trying to build my first program using cRIO 9075 with three c-series modules NI 9234 ; NI 9227 and NI 9263.
I use to work with NI cDAQ , was no problem.
This is the first time I face such problem , I can not follow the Getting started maula or any tutorial .
I am stopping at the part where all the FPGA does not apperar under my cRIO in the Project Explorer windows.
I installed the NI-RIO Device Drivers which was delivered with hardware.
Any tips ?
Any Solution?
Please reply.
By the way I am using Windows 10 and alptop Fujitsu
Attached is a screen shot for the error

Did you check the LEDs on the device to verify that they are OK? The power should be always on and the status LED should be always off... if there's a problem the status LED starts flashing in a pattern.
Also, are you deliberately not using a DHCP server? The 169.254.x.x address indicates that it didn't find one. How is your PC connected to the network and to the cRIO?

Thanks for the quick reply.
The Power LED is always Green
The Satus ED is off the blinking orange in a pattern
I connected to my laptop using NI 8 position Ethernt Cat5 cable
I do not know what do you mean by DHCP

Hi lhab,
Have you been able to locate the cRIO under Remote Systems in NI MAX?
Configure Your CompactRIO System for First Use
https://www.ni.com/getting-started/set-up-hardware/compactrio/first-use
You said that your Status LED is blinking. Can you characterize the pattern? Is it blinking continuously, two times with a pause, three times with a pause, or four times with a pause?
Once you determine that you can reference page 14 of this manual to determine what that tells you about the state of the cRIO:

Hi Kyle,
Thank you for your reply.
Both links you have sent me were useful.
I folowed the steps of :
Configure Your CompactRIO System for First Use
https://www.ni.com/getting-started/set-up-hardware/compactrio/first-use
It went smoothly
But still no c-series appeared
Also I moved to another laptop with OS Windows 7.0
the LED is blinking 3 times orange

Please let us try something else

Hi lhab,
The fact that the LED is flashing three times indicates that the chassis is in Safe Mode. You can configure what the startup mode of the controller is by changing it in NI MAX. Please refer to page 12 of the following manual:

Hello
Please see attached photos
I ca not disover my C-series modules

You won't see any C-Series modules in MAX. That's not a problem.
Instead of clicking on the tabs that don't show information, why not click on the cRIO and show us the network interfaces tab? That way, we can see what IP MAX sees the cRIO at. If we have that, we can see if the IP in your project matches. You're using Link Local so it wouldn't be surprising if the IP changed. This isn't a static IP address and can change between connections. If you've changed PCs, I'd especially expect it to change. If that's the case, it'd be expected the device can't be found by the project.
I'd also be surprised if your software is going to do anything for you. Your MAX screenshot shows LV 2015 SP1 and RIO 14.5. RIO 14.5 isn't compatible with LV 2015 SP1. You'll want to get the most recent cRIO drivers: http://www.ni.com/download/ni-rio-15.5.0/5768/en/ Before you do anything else, stop and install these. Do you have the 2015 SP1 LV Real-Time Module installed as well?

Hello
Thanks for your quick reply
Please find attached the ntwork tab with cRIO IP
Also I have installed the software downloaded recently from ni.com website
also attached is my max report technical
Thanks again
