function pallete menu

How do I change the default sub-palette in the function palette?  Specifically, when I right-click on the block diagram, the function palette pops up with the SignalExpress sub-palette expanded and a few other sub-palettes listed, but collapsed.  In order to get to Programming, I have to click the down arrows to expand the function palette.  I use this sub-palette the most right now, so it is annoying to have to make the extra clicks all the time.

What I want to change ...

Current function palette

I want this sub-pallete opened by default.

Thanks in advance!

fix the palette by clicking on the pin in the upper left corner of the context palette. Then choose "customize"-->"Change visible palettes..." In the following dialog check the palettes you want to access most of the time, like "programming" in your picture.

After you closed the fixed palette the right-click palettes will appear as desired.

When you Right-Click the BD to bring up the function palette, click on the drawing-pin symbol on the top-left of the palette.  Then click on "View", then "Change Visible Categories..." to change the ones that show by default.  Just tick all the ones you want, then click "OK".

Edit:  I was ninja'd!

Never say "Oops." Always say "Ah, interesting!"
