Look at the functions on the Graphics & Sound>Sound>Sound Output palette.

When you pop up the function palette, see the 'Search' button? You can always use that or the LabVIEW help.

There most certainly is. Just open the Example Finder (Help -> Find Examples), and search for "sound". And, as Dennis pointed out, there's a whole palette with sound functions. Smiley Wink

Only if you want to play a sound like you asked.Smiley Very Happy

You could also use ActiveX for something like calling the windows media player, I suppose. That would be a bit more complicated.

Do the afore mentioned search of examples for "sound" then try out the "Interactive Play Sound.vi". Try things, if they don't work, or work differently than you expected you will still have learned something for future LabVIEW. If you have a road to get to your destination you usually don't learn how to get there any other way, or even if there are other ways. Searching the help/example available within LabVIEW is a good experience, sometimes you will stumble onto a method to solve a problem what was totally different than what you  envisioned.
