Silly question. You can't even open an 8.5 exe in LabVIEW 8.5.

Dennis is right (for this discussion).  An EXE contains the compiled code, it does not contain source.  If I gave you a DLL built in C# how silly would it sound to ask you to open it in Java?  This isn't the exact same because that is two different programming languages but still, when there doesn't exist a decompiler, no source can be pulled from a binary, unless the source was embedded in the EXE which is almost never the case.  Post more details if you can but my suggestion is to contact the original developer and get the source from them.

No, you cannot open LabVIEW 8.5 VIs with LabVIEW 8.2. Do a Save As with 8.5 or post to the Version Conversion board. Since you have both, I don't understand why you simply didn't try it yourself instead of posting the question.

p.s. The typical way to abbreviate LabVIEW is LV and not LB.

If you don't have 8.5, then I don't understand why you would have said you did in your previous post. If you only have 8.2, then post it for conversion. I already told you to do that and you haven't.
