how to send logic 0,logic 1 to labview wirelessly?

Solved!

hi all,

I'm a starter of labview.

Now what I am trying to do is to build a button, and when a person pressed the button, the labview can receive logic 1 as "true".

I know that this kind of communication from the button to labview can be done by using serial port, but for my case, I want it to be wireless, which means the button signal can be sent to labview without wire.

The  medium between the button and labview is ZigBee.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Hi nope,

the question is: What kind of ZigBee receiver do you want to use?

LabVIEW is a programming language, not a kind of hardware to receive WiFi signals...

Once you sort out the required hardware you can determine the (PC) port to get the signal into the computer. LabVIEW is able to access (nearly) all ports of a standard PC...

@muks:

Don't you think a whitepaper on testing ZigBee transceivers is kind of overkill for this request?
