how to uninstall 2011

Solved!
Go to solution

Maybe due to having 2011 beta, maybe not, but when installing the real 2011 it somehow forgot the labview.exe. Rerunning the installer says it's done, and in a slight rage i simply deleted the 2011 folder. It still thinks it's finished with the install and i have no 2011 ... Any ideas?

I'm guessing you tried Add and Remove Programs under the control panel and selecting repair?

I think i've solved it, i couldnt find any uninstaller either, neither under LabVIEW nor National Instruments ... it's because it's sorted under 'S' for Software from National ... (doh, what's installed that isn't software?)

Oh boy...

I did something like that with 2010 and never got it "right" afterwards...

I guess there is no need to tell you to try uninstalling it from the Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > under National Instruments and then select LabVIEW 2011 to remove...

You'll probably need to clean the registry...

Wishing you luck..

"Repeat that???

For some reason it's not listed under National Instruments in add/remove programs, but "Programvara från National Instruments" (Software from National Instruments)

With that i could uninstall 2011 and then install normally. I sure hope it works as it should ... 🙂

You scared me for a moment..

In my case it's under National Instruments Software.

Yeah that makes more sense, it should have the name first "National Instrument-programvara"
