how to use ActiveX References VI to write up with an Invoke Node

Anyone can help to figure out this invoke node error. thank you in advance!

Did you read the error explanation in the first image?

"no method has been selected" is a quite good description…

method will be selectable if I select a class in the following way. but it caused many report generator VIs having error. Now, I don't know how to recover these report generator VIs. really bad!

I can easily recreate the code from your first message (LV2016, 32bit, Office365):

I just dropped the 3 RGT functions and an invoke node: no problems to select a method, no problems with RGT functions after selecting the method…

 

So the problem seems to be with your specific computer/software installations!

I think we need to know a little about your software versions

Looks like you are using office in a 64-bit version. 

Is your LabVIEW in 64-bit version?

a good question!

my office is 64-bit version. while Labview is 32-bit version due to Labview 64-version doesn't support Database connectivity. maybe this is the cause.
