Hi there,
When I build an installer, after install the desktop icon I asked for appears within a folder on the desktop named after the exe.
What am I doing wrong?

I guess your installer is not configured right.
Which version of LV are you using?
Post a scrennshot of the intaller configuration regarding the icon.

The problem is that even though you created a 'Desktop' shortcut, LV automatically puts it in a subdirectory. Make sure you clear the subdirectory entry.
