is real time module 2010 compatible with LV 2009 SP 1 ??

I have Labview 2009 SP 1 and i recently bought real time modul 2010. i am trying to activate it but say its not valid.

since LV realtime module includes the pid and fuzzy logic toolkit, i have succesfully activated that addon toolkit using the same code, but it doesnot activate the real time module

is real time module 2010 not backwards compatible ?

is it implying that i need to upgrade labview to 2010 ?

The version number of the module needs to match the LabVIEW version number.

So RealTime 2010 goes with LV 2010.  Real Time 2009 goes with LV 2009.

i have a VI analyzer toolkit 2010 that is working with LV 2009

so are the tool kits exceptio?

do i exchange the real time 2010 with real time 2009, from NI?

Hey freemason, 

The VI analyzer toolkit might be compatible with LV 2009 because it was not updated much between the two versions. However, the real time module was changed enough that you need real time 2010. Hope this helps!
